La paciencia – Ricardo Sgoifo y Georges Braque
La siesta es un ícono sagrado en Santiago, y Ricardo Sgoifo la alimenta con sus “Ocurrencias”.
En la rueda de la siesta, si no entre las mesas del bar, o bajo la sombra propicia de una tipa, es cuando Sgoifo asume su papel de juglaría. Su palabra une ágil un recuerdo y un poema, una madura reflexión ante un micrófono y un aro-aro, historia cultural y ciudadanía, y ese particular modo de ser y estar que llamamos “santiagueño”. Hay veces que el cielo de Vinará semeja venirse encima del suelo. í‰ste se estremece ante la posibilidad y la tierra suelta del tiempo de seca se arremolina, viborea y dispara, como temiendo aquel derramamiento del cielo sobre el suelo. Pero no ocurre el presagio aquel. Los hombres y mujeres del lugar, levantando sus miradas sobre el cielo amenazante, lo sostienen. Le impiden caer. Queda el cielo donde el cielo, y abajo el suelo se confunde con los pobladores para impetrar por la lluvia, para rogar por las cosechas, para bendecir la vida… Hoy el cielo estaba entrecortado por nubes pasajeras. La luz, con ser intensa, no lo era al punto de lo intolerable. Y los caminos presentían …
