…Donde acabábamos era en las vías del Central Argentino, cuando la casa quedaba en silencio y veíamos al gato tenderse bajo el limonero para hacer él también su siesta perfumada y zumbante de avispas. Abríamos despacio la puerta blanca, y al cerrarla otra vez era como un viento, una libertad que nos tomaba de las manos, de todo el cuerpo y nos lanzaba hacia adelante. Entonces corríamos buscando impulso para trepar de un envión al breve talud del ferrocarril, encaramadas sobre el mundo contemplábamos silenciosas nuestro reino…

El que pusiste es una hermoso cuento, pero hubiese elegido fragmentos de Rayuela o del Libro de Manuel.
Además tengo una anécdota que contarte sobre trenes. Nací en Santiago del Estero y de niños nuestra diversión favorita era ir al puente carretero que une Santiago con La Banda y ponernos en las vías y cuando el tren pí¬taba, pues nos atropellaba, nos tirabamos al Río Dulce, desde no se cuantos metros.
